I entered the coronial world in 1998 and have worked my way through to Coroners Service Manager for the City of Milton Keynes.

During my time I have seen many changes including the transfer of Coroners officers from Thames Valley Police over to the Local Authority.

I am an avid supporter of the COASA and have previously held the position of Secretary. In that role I was fortunate enough to attend the Ministry of Justice for stakeholders meeting when the new Coroners Act was introduced.

I feel passionately about the training for Coroners staff and for the promotion of good welfare support and a positive working environment.  I am a regular syndicate leader and presenter on the Judicial College training courses for officers.

When I am not working, I socialise puppy’s for the charity Medical Detection Dogs, so I am always showing photo’s of the latest addition to our household. I am also a keen baker but not quite ready for British Bake Off just yet.
